The reimagined Fratelli has just reopened. We were lucky enough to be one of their first tables (7/21/26) and they earned very bit of 5⭐️ The simple italian salad had a delicious cheese blend and marinated tomatoes. Margarita pizza was SO flavorful. The head chef stopped to tell us all that went into finding the PERFECT blend of flour for the crust. Virginia flour stoneground at a nearby historical mill and imported Italian flour provided the perfect chew, a puffed crust and structure to hold all of that delicious “top shelf” cheese. The pizza alone will bring us back. The bread and desserts are all house made and excellent. No shortcuts have been taken and you can taste it. A beautiful atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff that care about your experience. Their sommelier has hand selected wines that are unavailable anywhere in our area. He will surely find your perfect pairing. Fratelli Italian Kitchen you’re on the right track.

My daughter often reminds me that it’s not the stuff we enjoy but the experiences. And last night dining at Fratelli Italian Kitchen was a great one. JoEllen was our server. She went to great lengths to make our visit there nice. Small touches and many courtesies offered by her and Andrew were just wonderful and unexpected surprises. I would have to say that was the best evening I’ve seen at any restaurant in a very long time time. Thank you. Nancy A.

Amazing tasting food and drinks!! Came from out of town and ate here both days because it was so delicious. Abigail made our experience even better with her kindness and attention to detail. Best Italian food in Virginia! (coming from New England)

I have been here several times and have an incredible experience every time. The food is always wonderful and the service is even better. The hostesses, servers, and bartenders are always so kind and attentive. This is a perfect restaurant for a date night out or a special celebration with loved ones. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. Special shoutout to the bartender Grace. She is always so helpful and knowledgeable with navigating the drink menu and makes delicious drinks! I highly recommend the espresso martini if you like coffee. All of the employees I have seen here are great! This restaurant is truly a gem in Lynchburg. ❤️

Recently celebrated my birthday here and overall really enjoyed the experience. The ambiance was nice for a quiet, low key dinner. After hearing mixed reviews on the food I have to say it exceeded expectations. The smoked old fashioned was also excellent. The only issue I had was the cast iron dish the lasagna was served in. I understand why it's served that way, but it had the lasagna SMOKING. Even after blowing it off the internal layers were still extremely hot. It took a considerable amount of time to cool down. Besides that everything else was great.
